Rita Adams, a certified yoga teacher, has been teaching yoga classes in the Lenawee County community since 2000. She encourages students to move at their own pace, honoring and understanding their own unique body, while learning to cultivate mindfulness. Her classes are challenging yet accessible in a safe, supportive, fun environment. Rita is passionate about sharing the many benefits of yoga.
I work at a computer more hours per week than I would like to admit, and, at 51 years old, am neither as physically strong nor as flexible as I would like to be. But I always feel welcomed and accommodated in Rita’s class and, after each session, I feel stronger and more flexible than before. More importantly for me, I also come away feeling more mentally focused and emotionally grounded.
This morning's class was SO awesome!!!! They are all wonderful, but it FINALLY clicked in place for me. I came to class rushed, running late, not feeling good (bad headache) and left headache-free, relaxed (feeling "intoxicated") and I'm having a fantastic day. ...My goal was to get relaxed in class and boy, did I!
I started going to Flow Yoga taught by Rita Adams quite a while ago. I wanted a local provider that fit with my schedule. I knew that yoga was the way to gain flexibility and reduce the likelihood of certain injuries, especially [of my] back. What I've gained in addition to [that] is a much firmer core and toned arms. I look forward to my weekly sessions.
